Uniform

We attended a friend’s wedding over the weekend… In a typical Nigeria wedding, the bride or the couple’s family usually picks out a uniform fabric for friends and family – sometimes affordable, at times not so much.
Our cousin made the outfits (all four) in less than 48 hours, and we had to make a few adjustments ourselves. I (Bisola) spent about seven hours sewing in the gem stones, thanks to (big head) Dammie, she said it was better sewing them in than gluing, don’t know why I listened to her….

Here’s what we wore for the engagement…

Those dresses are gorgeous, but I don't know if I would have had the patience to sew on the beads. What will you do with the dresses now since they were made especially for that wedding?

Woah, seven hours?! That's so long, but the result is very pretty! And I think it's so cool that the bride picks the fabric, it must look amazing to see everybody wearing the same pattern!
