Antecedent....

So it turns out I'm from a royal family.... My mom and family traced their ancestral roots back to the 1800's, she's told me the story over and over yet I ask her "how am I related to this person"..... In Nigeria everyone is your Aunt/Uncle, so you gotta ask for clarity.

I wore this to the "Royal Gbedu day (the beating of the royal drum)" basically welcoming the descendants back to the royal family.... don't ask me. It was a uniform fabric (aso ebi) for hundreds of family members.

CONGRATULATIONS Fifth!!

Hey Guys, hope you're all doing well!!

It's been a while we've posted on the blog or any social media, we did not just go AWOL on everyone we were planning and preparing for my sissy's (Fifth) wedding and some other projects. We barely had time for anything else. It would be remiss of me not to post any pictures even if the "photos aren't officially ready" as per the new bride and groom.

Bride + Mom (mom in traditional attire)
A lot of things that happened in regards to her shoe, originally this Casadei was ordered in gold but we got an email 24 hours later that the order couldn't be shipped- shoes were sold out. Then we placed an order for this and it wasn't delivered before we all flew to Nigeria. As a last minute effort, my little sister bought her these Kurt Geiger's on her layover in Dubai a day before the wedding.
Both of her dresses are from the new Fifth N Sixth project we are working on. The pink/blush dress was worn for the traditional Nikkah ceremony and the white was for the reception.
I convinced her to do Henna which the locals in Nigeria call Laali..
Reception Dresses for my sisters and I. The dresses are part of the Fifth N Sixth collection we are trying to roll out.
